A coming-of-age story inspired by Jean Paul Sartre’s “The Wall”, two months of casting sessions and three talented students taking acting classes at Dinu Lipatti High School. After the casting chapter, the most difficult part was to find the perfect location. The director, Dan Radu Mihai, together with the cinematographer Pătru Păunescu searched for a place that would fit the story. They found it in a typical Romanian hospital hall with a sofa as a central element, surrounded by lots of opening and closing doors. We’d say it’s a great composition for getting that perfect cinematic depth of field, but you have to see it for yourself. Enjoy your watching!

SYNOPSIS

Two boys and a girl are waiting in front of a gynecologist office, where she has an appointment to make an abortion. Irina tells one of the boys, Marcel, that it was not Alex to be blamed for her getting pregnant, because she had cheated on him with another boy. While the girl is inside with the doctor, Marcel talks to Alex about guilt, but he realizes he cannot confess the secret he has just found out a few minutes ago. Irina comes out of the doctor`s office and lets them know that she will keep the baby.
